MAGGIE GRIFFITH

Maggie is our farms owner, as well as head instructor and trainer.   Maggie grew up locally, learning horsemanship and riding under several different trainers, wanting to learn as much as possible.  She rode for her university's IHSA team, before getting her first horse, and continuing her education, riding and auditing under several larger names like David and Karen O'Connor, George Morris, Boyd Martin and William Fox-Pitt.   A life-long equestrian, Maggie has always loved everything that comes with being around horses - not just the riding, but the horsemanship from the ground up.  She prides herself on passing along this knowledge along to her riders with lessons both on the ground and under saddle.  Maggie strongly believes that horsemanship does not start and end on the horse, but rolls over into every aspect of horse care.
